Amazon Selling Partner API integration
Run Amazon on the same records as every other marketplace.
Mainsail ERP connects to Amazon through the Selling Partner API. Orders, listings, inventory and settlement data land in the workspace your team already uses for Walmart, SHEIN and TEMU, so operations, buyers and finance stop reconciling four back offices by hand.
What the integration does
Each capability below maps to a role requested in our Selling Partner API application. We do not request access we have no use for.
Order sync and fulfilment
Amazon orders arrive in the shared order list alongside every other marketplace. Operators confirm, split and fulfil them, and tracking numbers are written back to Amazon.
Listings and inventory
Products published from Mainsail ERP carry the same SKU, pricing and stock rules as other marketplaces. Price and stock changes are pushed on a schedule instead of being retyped into Seller Central.
Procurement and reconciliation
Every order line links to its purchase order, supplier cost and shipping fee, so margin per order is visible without exporting spreadsheets.
Reports and settlement
Settlement and performance reports are retrieved on a schedule and matched against internal statements, so finance can explain a payout line by line.
Sourcing and monitoring
Product research and ASIN monitoring feed the same catalogue used for listing, with price and stock alerts on the sources you buy from.
Compliance patrol
Scheduled trademark patrol flags risky titles and images, so infringement surfaces before a takedown reaches the account.
What data we access, and why
Mainsail ERP is a private workspace for the seller who authorises it. Data retrieved from Amazon is used only to operate that seller’s own business.
Orders and fulfilment data
Used to fulfil orders, write back tracking and reconcile procurement cost. Personally identifiable information in orders is shown only to the users the seller authorises, is never used for marketing, and is retained only as long as the seller keeps the store connected.
Listings, inventory and pricing
Used to publish products, keep stock in sync across marketplaces and apply the seller’s own pricing rules.
Reports and settlement
Used to produce statements, margin reports and store-level performance dashboards for the seller’s own finance team.
No resale, no cross-seller analytics
We do not sell, rent or share marketplace data with third parties, and we do not combine one seller’s data into benchmarks shown to another.
Connecting a store takes three steps
No credentials are ever entered into Mainsail ERP. Authorisation happens on Amazon’s own pages.
Add the store
In Mainsail ERP, create an Amazon store under your organisation and give it a name your team will recognise.
Authorise through Amazon
Click Authorise. Seller Central shows you exactly which permissions the application requests, and you confirm there.
Data starts syncing
Orders, listings and reports sync on a schedule. You can revoke access in Seller Central at any time, and syncing stops immediately.
Security and data handling
- Authorisation uses Login with Amazon. Mainsail ERP never asks for, and never stores, your Seller Central password.
- Access tokens are held server side. They are never exposed to the browser, to other organisations, or to any third party.
- Traffic between your browser, Mainsail ERP and Amazon runs over HTTPS.
- Data is scoped to the organisation that authorised the store; staff see only the stores their role allows.
- Revoking the application in Seller Central stops all syncing. On request we delete the data held for that store.
- Developer contact for data and security questions: support@mainsailcards.com
